Relationship-Not Religion

There’s a form of godliness but no power going on. There’s a form of religion, but not relationship going on. God does not want us to be religious. Religion can cause a seperation and division between people. Religion looks at the numbers. Jesus didn’t care if it was a multitude or one woman at a well. Religion comes to seperate, divide, hinder, and make stipulations. Religion will keep us from going to the prisons, seeking the lost, going out on the streets, and loving the unlovable. Religion can hide our sin, because there is no Holy Spirit conviction or repentance. Religion can keep us from knowing Who God really is. Are you looking for something to quench your thirst? What are you thirsting after right now? Is it God? Is it Truth? Or, are you lusting after the things of this world? Religion is about a place. . . a building. Jesus said, “I am doing a new thing.” Our bodies will be the temple and the Holy Spirit will dwell in us. If we thirst and seek after God, He will give us what we need. Let’s keep our eyes focused of Jesus! He is the Source! It’s time to let go of religion and become True Worshipers of God! Jesus is soon to return!
