Text: Various scripture
The believer’s response should be different from the world’s response. The first thing we should do is maintain our joy. We will have tests and trials in our life, but our circumstances don’t change who we are in Christ. We need to count it all joy because it produces patience in our lives. . .a patience of endurance to hold on to Jesus and keep moving on. We are complete in Jesus! Every test and trial comes to do something in us. It makes us closer to Christ. We are partakers with Christ’s suffering, which means we will be partakers of the glory and joy later on. The things in our lives that don’t make us feel good, will mold us and teach us obedience. They are shaping us. Our world is being turned upside down. We need to look up and focus on Jesus! We don’t belong to this world. This is not our home. We are heaven bound! This is not the end for the believer. We are looking for glory. We are looking for our reward. We’re looking to hear, well done my good and faithful servant. This is our time, as believers, to be a light, to stand up strong, and declare God’s goodness!
