Text: Romans 8:19-22
ALL creation is waiting for God to reveal. . .US! It’s waiting patiently, eagerly, and with expectation for us to fully have our adoption in Jesus Christ. No part of nature exists the way God intended it to exist because of sin. Even man is not living to the fullness of what God intended because of sin. Because of the fall of man, from that point on, nothing has functioned the way God intended it to function. The world was turned upside down! The beautful rose has thorns. The lions became meat-eaters. All because of sin! And, it’s still happening today! Sin has taken people captive. Sin is the issue! But, God has provided Hope. . .Jesus Christ! Right now we are feeling the pain of the birth that’s about to come. We are feeling the labor and trevailing of suffering, injustice, and wickedness. All of creation is crying out. . .ENOUGH! We want to be set free from all that’s going on. We were not made for this world. We’re crying out for the answer. We’re crying out for relief. We’re crying out for peace and justice. We’re crying out for the birth! Nothing has fulfilled it’s purpose yet, but Jesus is coming to make everything right!
