Text: Galatians 2:19,20
Some people believe in order to please God, it’s all about works. But, it’s not! It’s all about the cross. We need to stop trying to please others. God didn’t make us to please man, but to glorify Him! We have been crucified with Christ, therefore, we are dead to the “dos” and “don’ts” of man’s law. Our life is no longer our own. We belong to Jesus! That’s our identity. We are not underneath the power of man. We are lead by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We need to die to ourselves until we get to the point where people no longer see us when they look at us, but they see Jesus! It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. We are no longer validated by the things of this world. We are a new creation and we now live for Him! Our focus should always be on Jesus. Our faith and trust is in Him! Our motivation is the cross and our goal is to be more like Him and to point others to Jesus!
