From Suffering To Glory

From Suffering To Glory

Text: Romans 8:18

There’s a suffering aspect in the believer’s life that has to take place. This suffering takes place because we are associated with Christ. We suffer because we are being made into the image of our Lord and Savior. We suffer because we are denying the world and standing true to scripture. This is considered suffering, because people get offended when presented with the Gospel. We also have the suffering of the present age because of the fall of man. Believers suffer from the same things as unbelievers, but we handle it differently. We know how to put our faith and trust in God in the bad times as well as the good times. Jesus is our Strenth! His Word is promises to us! Everything we go through is making something in our lives. Suffering lets us know we are identified with Christ. Suffering tells us we are being weened from this world. The more we go through, the more we long for the coming of Jesus Christ. Suffering gives us an opportunity to be witnesses. We can share all that God has done for us. God has something great for us! Don’t throw in the towel! Let’s keep our eyes on Glory!
