Text: John 14:15-18
The Holy Spirit is what is needed in this world today. If we’re going to have an impact for His Kingdom, we must truly depend on and trust in the working of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said if we really love Him, we will be obedient to Him. The true test is not what we say, but our walk with the Lord. Are we obeying Him and applying His Truth to our lives? Real love brings about obedience and faithfulness. If we really love Jesus, we want to be Christlike and serve Him. Jesus said, in order to live the Christlike life, we would need a helper. . .the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is all knowing, all powerful and everywhere! The Holy Spirit if God! He is a divine part of the Triune. He is our Comforter, Guide, and Counselor. He will guide us into ALL Truth! As believers, He abides in us forever! He will never leave us alone! He will be our strength, anointing, and power to get through all the struggles we may face. The Holy Spirit comes to enhance who Jesus is. He will glorify Jesus and convict us of sin. The Holy Spirit wants to consume us. Lord, help us to be Spirit lead so we can bring glory to God in everything we say and do!
