Text: 2 Corinthians 5:9-11
One day we will stand before the Lord and be judged for what we did for Jesus. Good and bad will be addressed by the Lord. We will be judged for our character, our motives, what we’ve done to make an impact of others, and how we worked for the Kingdom. Jesus layed a foundation for us to build on. We need to ask ourselves: What have I built on top of that foundation? Do I give it my best? Am I spreading the Gospel? Do I have a prayer life? Do people know I love the Lord? Or. . .Did I live a carnal life. . .nothing to do with God?
Christ wants a return for His investment. It has nothing to do with works, but it does have to do with the motive of the heart. . .why we do what we do. What we do here on earth matters! God has given everyone an ability. All we need to do is use it for God’s glory. What you’ve done for Jesus is the only thing that’s going to last! What have you done?
