Text: James 1:1
The Bible tells us to count it all joy as we go through trials. It may sound strange, but it’s a choice we have to make. We need to change our outlook and attitude when it comes to facing trials. Having joy means to be expecting something good to come out of our trials. When we truly believe that Jesus is in the midst of our trials, then we can believe that something good will come out of them. Why? Because Jesus will not let our trials destroy us. These trials come for a reason. They come to make us better. . .to make us more like Christ. They don’t come to discourage us, but to see where we stand in our faith. Sometimes, we don’t even know until trials strike. Do we really believe God is Who He says He is and He will do what He says He will do? We need to change our attitudes during our tests and trials and expect great things to come out of them. Let’s go through them with anticipation and expectation! God will bring us through and we will be stronger and better for it!
