Text: 1 Peter 2:9
Sometimes change is good, but we can’t forget where we came from and who we are. We live in a society that wants to rob us of who we are in Christ, by intimidating us with their own agendas. We can’t let the enemy come in and steal our testimonies of who we are and what God has done for us. Sometimes we even do it to ourselves, because we want to blend in with everyone else. It’s a “safe zone”. Rather than offend anyone, we want to blend in. But, as we get closer to that Great Day of Jesus’ return, that “safe zone” will no longer be there. That “security blanket” is going to be roughly and aggressively removed. Let’s remember we are a chosen generation! Even though we may be culturally different, as believers, we have the same Spirit within us. We thank God for our differences and we can worship our God in spite of them. He has called us out as ONE body. We are His possession! Let’s remember who we are in the Lord!
