Text: Proverbs 4:7
Ask yourself if you are in a position to understand Kingdom stuff. When you hear the Word, can you understand it? God says, if we start off listening, we’ll understand, because we understand when we pay attention. Jesus tells us to listen with understanding and He’ll give us more. If we don’t, what we do have will be taken from us. It’s a dangerous thing to listen to Truth and not obey it. When that happens, we’ve gone into rebellion. When we accept Jesus as Lord and belive the Word as Truth, then we become the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is within us! We have the Truth we need to read, understand, and obey. We have to get roots or we will be swept away. We need to get deep down into this thing! When trouble happens and trials come, the roots will keep us from loosing our faith and keep us grounded! How deep are your roots? Are you a wheat or a weed? When the King comes, He’ll seperate the wheat from the weeds. Our salvation is not about what we do. It’s about Who we know. We can’t live a double life. Fear the Lord! Now is the time to make up our minds. . .who are we going to serve?
