Text: 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 10:13
We are in a battle every day for the souls of man. We are valuable to God. The enemy doesn’t fight fair or ever give up. There is a war going on and his job is to continue to tempt us until we fall. We have a soul that is eternal and satan is after it! We cannot become lazy and let the enemy get a foothold. Our spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak. We need to study the Word and not give in to temptation. The devil tempts us, but God tests us. The devil tempts us with something we already like that is our weakness. God tests us to increase our faith and move us to a higher level in Him. The enemy can interject a bad thought or feeling. We need to say, “No!” At some point, we need to rise up and say, “No, devil! Get out of my head!” Resist the devil and he will flee. If you’re being tempted by the enemy, your deliverance is in the Word! Read it! Study it! Memorize it! The devil’s name is deceiver. His game is deception. Do you want to play?
