Text: Galatians 1:6-10
When we are going through the tough times, this is the time for the church to rise up and not be silent. The church stands for the Gospel and we have the answer for anything and everything we’re going through! The answer is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The Gospel is the Good News! The Gospel shows us that we are sinners, but we have the answer for sin. There was a sacrifice that was made for our unrighteousness and wickedness. That sacrifice was Jesus! Jesus’ death on the cross was the sin offering. We can’t do anything in our own power. We must put our faith in the work of the cross. That’s the Word coming alive in our hearts. That’s the Gospel! The Gospel is bringing glory to God and reconciling wicked man back to God! The Gospel is not about us. . .it’s about the Cross! It’s all about what Christ did for us because of our sin and for us to glorify Him. It has nothing to do with our works. We, as believrs, have the Gospel! We are called to live the Gospel! There is only one Gospel and it is complete! The Gospel is the answer to EVERYTHING! We cannot abandon the Gospel!
