Text: Galatians 6:1-5
We all know there are challenges in our lives where we sin and fall short. Sometimes we are overtaken by sin because we’ve let our guard down. We do things we know we shouldn’t do or go places we know we shouldn’t go. We need to walk in the Spirit and crucify the flesh. We must guard our hearts. The devil wants us to think we’ll never make it and we’re not good enough because we keep falling. That’s when we need to realize we need God! We can’t do it alone! But, with God, all things are possible. Restoration can happen in our lives no matter what. We, as Christians, need to encourage one another with humility, gentleness, kindness, and love. We need to remember, none of us are perfect. We are to help lift the burdens of others. We are called to put others before ourselves. We need to treat others the way we want to be treated. When we correct others wrongly, we are blind to our own faults and self-centered. We are deceiving ourselves when we think we’re better than others. Let’s examine our own selves before we open our mouths. Let’s choose our words wisely.
